About STRIANT

Is STRIANT Right for Your Patients?

Testosterone replacement therapy has been an accepted treatment approach for men with hypogonadism for a number of years. The goal of testosterone replacement therapy is to return serum testosterone levels to the body’s normal physiologic levels. Studies have shown that replacing testosterone in older men (mean age, 60+ years) who are hypogonadal has beneficial effects.

While the use of testosterone for treating men with hypogonadism is not new, STRIANT provides an effective way to deliver testosterone using the technology of a novel buccal system.

And even though it is applied to the gum area, STRIANT will not interfere with normal activities, like eating, drinking, or chewing gum.

STRIANT offers your patients advantages of being small and portable as well as discreet. Applying STRIANT to the gum takes less than a minute and can be done almost anywhere (e.g. at home, at work, etc.) and requires no titration.

Your patients can pre-screen themselves for hypogonadism with the Androgen Deficiency in Aging Men (ADAM) questionnaire. The ADAM questionnaire consists of 10 simple questions that will help your patient to determine if he has symptoms of hypogonadism.

STRIANT is indicated for replacement therapy in men for conditions associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone.
